Day 1 After the welcome in Gypsera and a short ride on the chairlift, the tour starts high above the Schwarzsee, whose name, according to legend, comes from the giant Gargantua, who is said to have washed his dirty feet in the water. The path climbs gently to the Euschelspass, past the rugged rocky peaks of the Spitzfluh, and leads to dreamy Jaun, the only German-speaking community in the Gruyère district (walking time without rests: approx. 3 h, distance: 6.5 km, ascent/descent: 310/760 altitude meters).
Day 2 From the Jaunpass, the route leads over a wide, gently snow-covered high moor landscape, typical of the region, to the ridge of the Hundsrügg 2047 m. The panorama is hard to beat: to the west the rocky jagged peaks of the Gastlosen, which are also known as the Swiss Dolomites, to the south and east the view into the Simmental and Saanenland and on the horizon the mighty peaks of Les Diablerets to the Wildhorn and Wildstrubel to the Jungfrau, Mönch and Eiger. Then follows the descent to Sparenmoos. The shuttle takes you down to Lenk (walking time without rests: 4 h, distance: 9.2 km, ascent/descent: 660/530 altitude meters).
Day 3 The cable car makes the first ascent up Bettelberg to the Leiterli easier. The route leads leisurely towards the Trütlisberg pass. The pass offers a particularly beautiful view of the limestone cliffs of the Vaud Alps. Far below lies the dreamy "Louwenesee" and today's destination, Lauenen (walking time without rests: 3.30 h, distance: 8.8 km, ascent/descent: 430/1010 altitude meters).
Day 4 Across alpine pastures and through the mountain forest, the trail climbs up to the broad ridge of Höje Wispile 1857 m. Enjoy the magnificent panorama once again before the route leads step by step down to Feutersoey to the young river Saane. After a short ride in the bus, the tour ends in glamorous Gstaad (walking time without rests: 3.30 h, distance: 7.8 km, ascent/descent: 650/750 altitude meters).
