Tag 1 The journey via Lucerne and Sarnen to Langis is short and entertaining. The post bus takes you to Langis. And who knows, maybe all the way across the sea of fog. From the Central Switzerland cross-country skiing center, the route first leads along the snow-covered road to the Glaubenberg pass and then gently up and down through a sparse forest landscape to Seewenseeli. Past the Fürstein, the tour leads to Stäldeli. From here and high above the Entlebuch you take the bus to Flühli. (Walking time without rests: approx. 2.5 h, distance: 7.8 km, ascent/descent: 360/430 altitude meters).

Tag 2 A short ride in the post bus takes you from Flühli in the direction of Sörenberg. Then hike through the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere with an impressive view of the rugged Brienzerrothorn chain on one side and the vast, snowy karst expanses of the Schrattenfluh on the other. Then you reach Kemmeribodenbad in the farthest Emmental. Now enjoy the hospitality in the time-honored hotel Landgasthof Kemmeriboden-Bad. (Walking time: 3 h, distance: 9.3 km, ascent/descent: 420/510 altitude meters).

Tag 3 Behind the mighty Hohgant, the landmark of the region, the route leads gently uphill through a remote valley basin, which is also the headwaters of the Emme. From here, the Emme takes its course through the Emmental towards the Mittelland, while at the end of today you reach the Lombachalp, above Habkern and Interlaken with a magnificent view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. (Walking time: 3.45 h, distance: 12 km, ascent/descent: 685/100 altitude meters).
